I’d just like to say that Wired is reporting that Apple is in negotiations to license the sale of music videos through iTunes, credit The Wall Street Journal.
I don’t proclaim to be the mainstream target user of Apple, but I know I am not alone in wondering what the big deal is about portable music videos? Here’s the deal, as I see it. Apple is dabbling with this new venture, experimenting with the technology and slight rebranding of iTMS. A proof-of-concept if you will, for when Apple hits up the movie studios with the same pitch. Word is, Netflix is already in the advance stages of online movie delivery. I believe Apple is attempting to map their successful music business model onto the TV/movie scene.
