Nintendo Show’s Their Revolution-ary Controller

I’d just like to say remember the first time you picked up a Nintendo controller and started playing the original Super Mario Brothers games? You swung your arms in the air like an idiot, as if the movement of the controller was actually going to do something? Nintendo was watching.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. Actually, I do; I owned a Power Glove. I’m all for pushing innovation, something Nintendo has always attempted in the past, but this is a huge gamble for the big N. We can expect to have some great experiences with 1st party games, but how will this unique controller translate into the numerous cross-platform 3rd party games? It seems that alone will force Nintendo into the domain of being the second console in America’s households.

I’m rooting for you Nintendo.
