Mozilla Calendar(surprise) with WebDAV providing the remote accessibility. Perhaps I’ll do a little 12-step howto later, but that is not the point of my rambling.

Fast forward to this morning, I’m browsing digg and come across Kiko, a new kind of online calendar. I’m usually not one for irony, but given the topic of this weekend’s mini-project, I took a gander. Kiko utilizes AJAX, the technology that Google uses extensively in all their gee-wow webservices as of late. Simply, it allows dynamic interaction (thru javascript) without the necessity of webpage refreshes. Neat stuff.

My one line review, Kiko is pretty snazzy and had I found out about it just a day earlier, things might be different. The deal-breaker at this point though is the lack of import/export. I’d also be interested if this could be used as a backend (rather than webdav) for Moz Calendar. I’ll be keeping an eye on the progress nonetheless. Nice work fellas!
