Florida missile crisis

I’m all for recycling but perhaps this is crossing the line? A

Patriot missile was recently discovered in a Florida scrapyard much to the shock of the yard workers. Fearing their discovery, the police were phoned who in turn brought in experts from the local Air Force base.

They said that it was harmless, as it was missing its warhead. MacDill spokesman Lt. Omar Villarreal confirmed that the missile did not contain, in his words, ‘the part on top that goes boom.’

Well, that’s a relief that the “boom” part is missing now isn’t it? It gets better though as

At the time of writing, the former owner of the Patriot remains a mystery. Authorities seem pretty relaxed about the whole thing, and say they are not planning on investigating where the missile came from.
